An evening with The Zombies and Brian Wilson
A night of nostalgia was had by all who attended The Zombies and Brian Wilson show in Phoenix, AZ at the Comerica Theatre on September 6, 2019. The Zombies performed songs of their albums “Odessey and Oracle”, “Begin Here”, “Still Got That Hunger” and their self titled album “The Zombies.” Performing songs such as “Tell Her No”, “Edge of the Rainbow”, “She’s Not There”, “Changes” and “This Will Be our Year”. As the evening moved on the fans of The Zombies got louder with shouting and cheering, song after song showing the band appreciation.
As Brian Wilson’s band takes the stage and gets set, Brian Wilson follows suit to a cheering crowd as he moves toward a white grand piano. With no introduction they begin their performance with an arsenal of Beach Boys songs starting with “California Girls”. The evening was filled with reminiscing fans being taken a back with a setlist that provided a soundtrack of memories; songs such as “I Get Around”, “Wouldn’t It Be Nice”, “Good Vibrations”, “Surfin’ U.S.A.”, “Fun, Fun, Fun” and many more.
