DESCRIPTION:A versatile\, progressive groove metal unit based out of Ukraine\, Jinjer have found success both in their Eastern European homeland and abroad with their punitive blend of post-hardcore and death/progressive/nu-metal. Drawing from a wide array of influences\, including R&B\, soul\, hip-hop\, and the full spectrum of heavy metal\, the band formed in 2009 and features a lineup consisting of Tatiana Shmailyuk (vocals)\, Roman Ibramkhalilov (guitar)\, Eugene Abdiukhanov (bass)\, and Vladislav Ulasevich (drums). Jinjer issued a pair of EPs\, 2009’s OIMACTTA and 2012’s Inhale\, Do Not Breathe\, before breaking big at home with the release of a full-length version of the latter album in 2013. The group’s sophomore long-player\, 2014’s Cloud Factory\, caught the attention of heavy metal institution Napalm\, which signed Jinjer and released their third full-length effort\, King of Everything\, in 2016. The group toured heavily in support of the LP\, hitting the European festival circuit and making their presence known overseas as well. In early 2019\, the band returned with the Micro EP\, again on Napalm. By the end of the year\, its natural counterpoint\, Macro\, arrived. ~ James Christopher Monger\, Rovi \n \n \nFormed in Tokyo in 2002\, Crystal Lake is a dynamic five-piece band. \nTheir distinctive sound draws from hardcore and metalcore influences\, seamlessly blending infectious melodies with powerful heaviness. \nTheir exceptional music has garnered widespread international recognition\, surpassing national boundaries. With their relentless and electrifying stage presence\, Crystal Lake continues to captivate audiences worldwide. \nAs they continue to tour the world in support of their 2026 album “The Weight of Sound”\, the band will perform with guest vocalists on global tours while preparing for the official addition of a new permanent singer. \n \n \nCalifornia’s Entheos is a punishing technical death metal unit with ties to Animosity\, Animals as Leaders\, and The Faceless. The self-styled “death fusion” group blazed onto the U.S. rock charts in 2016 with The Infinite Nothing. 2017’s Dark Future and 2023’s Time Will Take Us All saw the band add more progressive elements to their uncompromising deathcore sound. \nEntheos were formed in 2015 around the talents of drummer Navene Koperweis (Animosity\, Animals as Leaders)\, bassist Evan Brewer (Animosity\, the Faceless)\, guitarist Frank Costa (Animosity)\, and vocalist Chaney Crabb (Systems). After the 2008 breakup of Animosity\, Koperweis\, Brewer\, and Costa bounced around between other projects. Koperweis\, who had produced Crabb‘s former band Systems\, was impressed by her intense vocal style\, and thought she would be the perfect fit for his and his ex-Animosity bandmates’ new project. The band came together quickly\, issuing its debut EP\, Primal\, independently in early 2015. They inked a deal with Artery Records shortly thereafter\, followed by a tour with Veil of Maya and Oceano as well as festival dates with Between the Buried and Me and the Red Chord. Infinite Nothing\, the group’s debut studio long-player\, appeared in early 2016 and reached number 24 on Billboard’s hard rock chart. Switching over to the Spinefarm label\, Entheos returned in November 2017 with their follow-up LP\, Dark Future\, which also made a strong showing on the U.S. indie and hard rock charts. The band signed with Metal Blade before unveiling their next full-length effort. Released in 2023\, Time Will Take Us All saw Entheos add new sonic textures to their progressive metal palette\, including elements of groove-metal\, grunge\, electronica\, and jazz-tinged goth-rock.
