MCSO: Homeless woman killed by hit-and-run driver while walking dog

PHOENIX (FOX 10) – Authorities say a homeless woman was killed by a hit-and-run driver while she was walking a dog on Friday morning.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the woman and was walking the dog with a homeless man near 91st Avenue and Broadway when she was hit by a dark-colored vehicle.

MCSO says the vehicle left the scene after the collision.

The woman’s identity has not been released, but MCSO says she is 40-50-years-old.
