In February, Yankee Candle launched an entire brunch-themed collection, and it’s basically the millennial dream. We are a generation that loves an overpriced omelette, am I right? The line, which includes six breakfast and cocktail-inspired aromas, comes in a variety of sizes. So, whether you’re looking to outfit your desk with the small tumbler or keep a 2-wick jar by your bedside, you can relish in the sweet, sweet scent of Sunday morning every day of the week.
While avocado toast and breakfast burritos are among my personal faves, I’m not sure an egg scented candle is going to sell out the same as White Strawberry Bellini or a Toasted Pecan and Vanilla Belgian Waffle. The company stuck with a more classic variety and honestly, they crushed it. The Sunday Brunch Collection also includes Blush Bouquet, Floral Candy, Grilled Peaches & Vanilla, and Sweet Morning Rose. The site also promises “more to come,” so be on the lookout!
According to Yankee Candle, the fragrances set “the mood for creating warm and lasting memories—and, of course, waffles, Bellinis, and decadent desserts! It’s a brunch made for sharing, and it’s all about spending time with the ones you love.”
Earlier this year, KFC released their own line of food-inspired candles with their limited edition gravy scent and people were confused—like, wanted to know if it was edible, confused. So just to be really, really clear, candles are strictly for smelling.
