With Chris Fehn out of Slipknot after over 20 years, the question is: Who will become part of the Nine? Corey Taylorhas already been responding to fan suggestions, as well as clearing the air on Fehn’s leave.

Before it was officially announced that Fehn was done with Slipknot, news broke of a lawsuit claiming the band had been withholding money from the percussionist. Taylor labeled the allegations as “bullshit,” adding, “Wait ’til the truth comes out.”

On Twitter, a fan suggested Slipknot bring back former vocalist Anders Colsefni. Corey was big on the idea, writing, “Fuck I would LOVE that.”

However, one fan called the potential move a “bit dickish,” which led to Taylor elaborating on exactly what he meant by “bullshit.”

“You think that’s dickish, try being wrongfully accused of stealing money from someone you cared about, and having a lot of your fans believe it. Good Morning, by the way.”

Chris Fehn has yet to comment on his departure from Slipknot. The only official statement from the band was released earlier today (March 18):

Slipknot’s focus is on making album #6, and our upcoming shows around the world, our best ever. Chris knows why he is no longer a part of Slipknot. We are disappointed that he chose to point fingers and manufacture claims, rather than doing what was necessary to continue to be a part of Slipknot. We would have preferred he not take the path that he has, but evolution in all things is a necessary part of this life.

Long Live The Knot.
