After the great performance that While She Sleeps put that night, it was going to be tough to follow. Australia’s Masters of Deathcore Thy Art Is Murder were next to play and they did not disappoint, they came to The Van Buren to conquer and they did.
They opened with their roaring song titled “Dear Desolation” followed by “The Purest Strain of Hate” and “Holy War“. As soon as C.J. McMahon, the lead singer, started singing the lyrics for “Holy War” everyone in the venue started singing and going crazy.
I am glad I was able to see how much people love and respect the band.
The band had a few more songs to play like “Slaves Beyond Death“, “The Sons of Misery” and “Puppet Master“, among a couple others. They ended the night with their new single and title track of their new album entitled “Human Target“, which they performed brutally and beautifully.
Make sure to pick up their new album when it comes out on July 26th 2019 via Nuclear Blast Records.
To end a great amazing night, the band Architects, from England took the stage and opened with their song âDeath Is Not Defeatâ. Fans went insane and started singing the lyrics to the song, while others were going crazy in the pit or crowd surfing to the edge of the stage.
The band played other hits like âModern Miseryâ, âRoyal Beggarsâ, âA Match Made In Heavenâ and their new single âHereafterâ. The band ended their performance with one of their best songs âDoomsdayâ, with a crowd that wanted more from the band.
We at Global AZ Media thank all the bands that played as well as The Van Buren and of all their staff for hosting such a great event.
