PHOENIX — A woman has died after getting struck by a vehicle near 32nd and Van Buren streets.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers were called to the area around 8:00 p.m. Friday for a crash.
Officers learned a 58-year-old woman attempted to cross mid-block when she was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound.
The woman pedestrian was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police say the driver remained on scene and did not display signs of impairment.
The investigation remains ongoing.
