PHILADELPHIA – Police are investigating after several explosive devices were found inside a van on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway late Wednesday night.
A large police response swarmed the van on 19th and the Parkway around 10 p.m.
Investigators from the Philadelphia Bomb Squad and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms (ATF) responded to the scene. Sources said were several M-type devices found in the van.
FOX 29, was told by a source that the devices are similar to what has been used to blow up ATMs across the city in recent days. No arrests have been reported so far.
