Influenced by the likes of Zakk Wylde; James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen, Tyler Cantrell picked up the guitar when he was 10 years old and has been the lead guitarist for the metal band Haxon since 2016.

As a precursor to his full-length album, both the “As Above, So Below”    and “Color into Space” EP releases see the guitarist expanding his metal influences to incorporate sections of acoustic rock, ambient-synths, and progressive rock elements.

While the “As Above, so Below” EP saw Tyler exploring his acoustic rock side with nods to the Alice in Chains albums, Sap and Jar of Flies“Color into Space” delivers a short collection of atmospheric electronic-ambient rock instrumental songs, inspired by composers Danny Elfman and Hans Zimmer, as well as the movie Blade Runner.
A culmination of components from his “As Above, so Below” and “Color into Space” releases, as well as including traditional heavy metal elements similar to his metal band Haxon; Tyler’s full-length solo album “Enigmatic” bridges the genre gap, seamlessly bringing all of those genre characteristics together
