ANARIA Release Their Acoustic Version of “Journeys Do Not End”

New England, USA – Anaria release their acoustic version of “Journeys Do Not End” with TLG Entertainment. Earlier this year they released one of their other acoustic versions, “Leaving You Behind” with TLG Entertainment as well.

‘”Journeys Do Not End” is a song about finding new beginnings in the face of ending. It is an uplifting ballad with a big chorus that sticks with you. Since this song started as an acoustic jam, it was a no-brainer for us to record an acoustic version.

Lyrically, it represents an important turning point in the story of our 2020 studio album Exile. Two characters who have been separated from a passionate relationship are coming together in the face of destruction, setting aside their past and realizing that in spite of their challenges, their love has endured. Through that love, they find the power to defeat anyone or anything.”‘ – Anaria

The song is the second in a series of acoustic renditions Anaria will be releasing over the next year entitled “Sessions.”

“LEAVING YOU BEHIND” (ACOUSTIC RELEASED EARLIER THIS YEAR)

“Anaria has always loved doing acoustic versions of our music. Our studio work tends to be dense and jam-packed with all manner of orchestration. We like to occasionally strip away all the bells and whistles to the melody and chords. This allows us to really focus on portraying the heart of the piece and hone in on the lyrical content, too. The result is an intimate experience between us and our audience and we love being able to offer that experience in addition to a thoroughly produced work.” – Jessica Jackson Salvucci

Anaria classes itself as a genre-defying band hailing from New England, who experiments with symphonic metal, modern rock, cinematic scoring, and pop arrangements. They have shared the stage with numerous national acts such as Lacuna Coil, Flyleaf, John 5, and Powerman 5000. After operating as a three-piece studio project for a few years, releasing an EP in 2017, Invocation, and a full-length studio album in 2020, Exile, they are getting ready to return to the live circuit by 2022.

Anaria began its life in 2011 as a symphonic metal band in the vein of Nightwish under the project name “Evince Ethos.” This was changed to “Anaria” in 2014 when Jessica Jackson began working with Dan Spinney on new material. They went on to release a cover of Ed Sheeran’s “I See Fire” on YouTube which garnered half a million views and a robust following in the fantasy and gaming community. After many shows, releases, a few lineup changes, and a prolonged hiatus, Sergio Salvucci joined in 2017, resurrecting the project. The trio has been hard at work in the studio, building a sound and style which defies boundaries and takes the listener on a fantastical experience rooted in human emotion. In Spring of 2021, they welcomed a new addition to the band, Tony Martinez, who will not only be playing drums for live shows but will be actively involved in the writing process for their next releases.
