Archetypes Collide Come Back Swingin’ on ‘My Own Device’

It’s been a hot minute since Fearless Records‘ newly signed act Archetypes Collide burst onto the scene with their impressive single ‘Undertow‘ back in February and now they’re back to grab your attention with their synth-driven rock song ‘My Own Devices‘.

As stated, this one combines alluring background synth and frontman Kyle Pastor‘s rockstar vocals (with a dash of screams for good measure), alongside the rest of the band providing a catching hard rock feel that should see the song storming the charts in US rock radio world, but don’t expect Aussie media to follow suit, they don’t like risks – so that’s why we’re presenting them to you!

On the new track, Kyle revealed:

“‘My Own Device’ is rooted in that self-realization that the majority of my struggles in life always seem to trace back to my own doing. It’s a dark place to dwell in but I do think there’s value in shining light on my own flaws to give hope to others that might feel the same way.”

The boys also toured with The Amity Affliction in the US, so if they’re good enough for the TAA boys, they’re good enough for a spot on WoS!
