POPPY’s Nü-Industrial Cover Of KITTIE’s “Spit” Is Killer

Poppy is keeping the nü-metal revival train rolling with her cover of Kittie‘s 1999 track “Spit”. The cover retains all the nü-bounce of the original, adds in a healthy dose of industrial fury, and tops it all off with a frantic music video directed by Jim Louvau. It’s a ripper for sure, and one that Kittie may very well see given their reactivation in recent years.
