Avatar is one of those metal bands that once you see you should be hooked from the start. I’ve been covering them since their very first tour in the US and I haven’t missed a show yet. The Dance Devil Dance tour made a pit stop in Phoenix, AZ out at The Van Buren on and it was yet another packed house. I arrived about an hour early with the line already down the street. Watching them play from a couple hundred people now to packing a couple thousand people is simply amazing. Avatar played an amazing set with a ton of fan favorites and even some surprises. On this tour they also brought Orbit Culture and Veil of Maya. Check out all the photos below.
